uly was a quiet summer meeting.  Marja and Jackie cut squares for the Festival raffle quilt (thanks to Hazel for all the fabric!)  Sandra is back from England and has taken this project in hand -- please get in touch with her if you can help sew squares or sew squares in rows.

Marja is designing the group scarecrow again. This year it will be a baby in a pram. If anyone has baby clothes (especially a bonnet), blankets and other bedding, please let Marja know (keeping in mind that tattered, stained, ragged, etc. is best!)

Welcome to a new member, Haley Greene. She brought a great work in progress to the meeting, a hand sewn crazy quilt made from her son's baby clothes....

The Bridgewater stitching group is excited about coming to the August meeting, and a couple of Woodstock Quilt Guild members contacted Sandra to ask if they could visit, so for a summer meeting, August should be well attended!
